I'm Chris, and you're probably wondering why I'm telling you about myself. Well, as you've probably read on the other sections of this site, my photography style lines up alongside my personal beliefs very closely.
I believe that spending time with those you love is one of the most rewarding things a person can do in life. That's why I love taking families out on a shoot, especially when younger kids are involved; there's just so much laughter and silly behaviour involved, it's hard not to be memorable!
If you ever visit the family home, you'll find pictures of us and places we've been all over the walls. To me, that's where photography can be best enjoyed; on the wall, in your hands, or in a book. Anywhere but a computer screen, it just doesn't do it justice.
Life goes by more quickly than any of us can imagine. Every moment is a tiny slice in time, and every single second they pass us by. We can never have them back, once they pass they're gone forever. It's my privilege to be able to say on your behalf "no, this moment stays." My father was an amateur photographer back in his younger days, and because of that there are so many pictures of my sister and myself from times that I can no longer remember. It's fun to crack the old album out and see just how much everyone has changed!
I often stay in contact with those who's pictures I shoot; I encourage you to add me on Facebook or any other social media! I love catching up with people and seeing how they're getting on, especially as couples turn into families and the kids grow into their personalities.
I hope that we can work together and create something memorable not just for you, but your children and your grandchildren.
